WHAT IS SPORT TOURISM
Sport tourism is the kind of tourism in which sport is consider as a medium to permote tourism in the country. Basically sport tourism is a kind of tourism in which an individual from there own country to other country to participate or to see sport activities or sport events.
TYPES OF SPORT TOURISM
Active Sport Tourism-IT is a kind of sport tourism in which an individual travel from its native country to other country for the sake of participating in sport activities or sport events.
Passive sport tourism-IT is a kind of sport tourism in which an individual travel from it native country to other country for the sake of visiting or in other words we can say that an individual travel from its own country to other country just to see sport activities or sport events
SPORT TOURISM IN INDIA
Since India is rich in its culture and diversity India has proven itself in tourism industry .Now Indian tourism industry is recognizing sports as a medium tourism in the country .For permoting sport tourism in the country india is conducting many sport events
