Winterbrook Nursing Home: There was which was working at the home was put into special measure after being alleged of ill treatment of residents. The police was investigating the neglect at Winterbrook Nursing Home after the police was called to the nursing home on 23rd June 2017. Elizabeth Collins, aged 61 at the time off the offence, was charged of three counts of ill treatment and wilful neglect of a individual and also six counts of breaching the care providers duty of care leading to the ill treatment and neglect of a individual. Mary Craddock aged 59 at the time off the offence, was charged of five counts of ill treatment and wilful neglect of a individual. Joan Lovell, aged 63 at the time off the offence, was charged of three counts of ill treatment and wilful neglect of a individual. All three women was summoned to oxford magistrates court on 10th April. None of the women no longer work at the nursing home. The nursing home was told they had to make improvements following the latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.
